Music is a business... But, mainly an art form. Back in 2002, Ryan Ochs and Bill Scott came together to form Van Nuys Music Corporation. Tired of mainstream music with no originality, they developed the music that its members wanted to hear. After 6 years of fine tuning their distinctive sounding music, VNMC moved to Los Angeles and made the debut EP Chart Topping Hits.
Van Nuys Music Corporation adorned a satirical white collar approach, trading in their t-shirts and jeans for suits and ties. While projecting an image of being a mogul of industry overshadowing art with business. VNMC's content could not be further from the truth. VNMC sings about being broke and dealing with girl problems as evidenced by the songs "Toll Collector" and "Goodbye".
With limited funding Van Nuys Music Corporation has managed to create recordings, merchandising product, and an exciting aboveground buzz. Always running their business with effeciency, VNMC recorded drums in a downtown L.A. warehouse and, staying true to its name, engineered the rest of the tracks in Bill Scott's Van Nuys bedroom (located on Victory and Sepulveda). All recordings are self-produced and manufactured by affliated partners. VNMC is currently in pre-production for their upcoming recording this spring which shall be released to the public in the following business quarter. Sticking by their high-rise corporate guns, Van Nuys Music Corporation are inevitably due to conduct a major takeover.
Sincerely,
VNMC
